I hope they recognize her. This was the 3rd time she'd played a character in the franchise before her unfortunate passing in 2006

I think you're referring to Magiel here (Mystic Mother in Mystic Force). MagiMother is the White Ranger (White Mystic Ranger in Mystic Force)

We are referring to Magiel. And her US name is Mystic Mother so we're still referring to the same person, who was played by the same actress since they just reused footage of her for Mystic Force anyway. I hadn't realized he used the wrong name in this context initially but it works out the same.

Yeah, but MidoGreen talked about "MagiMother" but meant Mystic Mother/Magiel. That's what I wanted to clarify as he seemed to have mixed the names up.

Anyway rewatching the movie I enjoyed it. Seeing the Heavenly Saints the Ozi siblings draw their power from was neat. Nice to see Rin again, Magiel was cool, get to see the Sungel suit in action and neat to get some more backstory on Miyuki and Blagel(hm, Unigolon was his horse? You don't say.). Groom was a pretty cool design, and if he actually pulled off his scheme, the series could have been finished. The Living Sword was like a bladier version of Gigan complete was the actual Gigan roar, and the Sword of Groom actually looked visually impressive for a CGI monster. Best part though was Saint Kaiser, love that design.

Thank god we are watching the movie, I was lazy and didn't feel like watching 3 episodes this week.

Sentai movies are esentially longer episodes of the show, but it was pretty good, it played like a fairy tale, with Magitopia, the Wedding, Unigolon and Mandora going giant.

More backstory is cool, and the action was pretty good.

Overall I liked it a lot.
