			Hey guys,

Not usually one for the self promotion thing but I made a review of the Solar Saver and figure I would share some pictures. Not only is this toy fantastic and really deserves way more attention, but I think it’s an important moment for Chinese toy history. I think sirtoys might be the easiest f westerners. You might want to wait until March when star saver comes out so you can grab all three at once.

It is a great looking toy. I'm excited for the Chinese toy market, they could have the potential to create something that rivals the Japanese one.

I wish recent Super Sentai mecha looked this good. This is very impressive.

Awesome to finally see more pictures of this thing. I think my favorite parts are the clear blue plastic on the solar panel shoulder wings and the helmet. I can't wait to see how much of a cluster this becomes as the other mecha are added to it.

Niceties aside: Geeze, and I complain about how simple Super Sentai mecha usually are. The robot is practically 2 components, the legs (which seem to be the most complicated) and the upper body that is partsformery enough to make any 6th ranger (or 4th Brave team member) jealous. The robot looks complete even without the female rangers' flying hat with wings... thing... I can see why some people like the general ascetic and it is impressive that it is larger than Kyoryujin, but I have no interest in trying to get one for myself. EDIT: Just realized that's the Dino Charge Megazord.. that still leaves Solar Saver being pretty large Last edited by schlagwerk; 02-24-2015 at 07:57 PM.. |

The two other combinations are actually fairly clean looking, especially compared to the original Giant Saver combinations. I don't have any recent BOJ robots to compare it to, but its about 13 inches, so its still pretty big I htink.

I haven't seen any pictures on the combinations outside of the first one advertised on the back of Solar Saver's box. I look forward to seeing them at some point.

Giant Saver was such a mess when you started combining it. The individual robots were pretty good, though. |
