I couldn't see a thread for general simple questions anywhere, which is a shame when this is a small one that'll probably be answered very quickly.

Basically; I know about the Figure-Rise line of Rider figures and have been looking into them for quite a while. The 1/8 line consisting of W, Ichigo, OOO etc is, of course; much larger than your standard action figures (Figuarts, Marvel Legends, etc). So that's irrelevant here.

What does interest me most of all is the line containing Faiz, Kabuto, Build; and soon enough Ex-Aid, Zi-O and Geiz. Basically, I've come across two separate listings for Faiz and Kabuto each on HLJ, and I am trying to discern the difference since I've found no information about this: is there a difference between 'Standard' and '6'?






My assumption, from the different prices, names and pictures used; is that the 'Standard' figures are slightly upscaled versions of the '6' figures more in line with your usual Figuarts-scale stuff. This also seems consistent with there only being 'Standard' listings for Build, Ex-Aid, Zi-O and Geiz. I just want to make sure I have this right before making any decisions, because Kabuto in particular REALLY has my interest for having a Cast Off gimmick.

The Figure-rise 6 are the old 2014 versions of the kits, only Kabuto and Faiz got made back then.

The other riders on the standard line are brand new molds but I think these two are just reissues, same parts, slightly different color on the plastic and modern stands included.

EDIT: Looked for a comparison and the new ones do have slightly better color separation with new pieces, but are still mostly old ones.

So it's all the same parts and all the same size; no other meaningful differences outside of colour?

They will look mostly the same yes, the hues are different and the new ones need less sitckers/paint to look complete.
