Kamen Rider Den-O: The Birth of Pretty Den-O!

So now that the newest Den-O adventure has been fansubbed, just thought I'd throw this thread together if anyone wanted to discuss it.

Personally, I still can't wrap my head around why this exists but it's a pretty harmless little short. The Imagin are still as lovable as ever, even if everyone that isn't Momotaros doesn't really get a moment to shine here.

The best gag is after the end credits too, made better because they actually brought HIM back for what is nothing more than a few lines of brief dialogue.

I loved it. Anna is a great "Main Rider" for this and it's just so unabashedly fun. The humor is on point, which can be a hit or miss with anything Den-O related, and it just radiates positivity. Also, I love the Pretty Den-O suit. Wouldn't mind seeing this reference again.

...but yeah, I loved it too. Not sure if it'll have any lasting impact on me, but as a cute excuse for some more Den-O, it turned out even better than I had hoped.

A bit sad to see the Den-O/Taros suits are kinda falling apart. You can kinda tell on Momo's knees and Sword Form. Some parts on Naomi's suit had been replaced as well with some cheap stuff. I mean, it is just a episode-length mini-special, but it hurt quite a bit.

I just watched it.

I saw the Anna and Melon twist ending coming as soon as Melon introduced herself by her nickname since Yonemura did the exact same plot with Mitsuru and Naoki in Let's Go Kamen Riders. I guess Melon switched to contacts when she grew up. That would explain the lack of glasses.

Nevertheless, I enjoyed it. The story is just pure classic Den-O comedy and that's all I really wanted. Anna is a likable and courageous protagonist, although I'm not sure whether Momotaros was referring to Ryoutarou or Kohana when he said "You remind me of someone." which he previously said to Sougo as well. In that case, it was probably Ryoutarou but I thought Anna reminded me a little of Kohana.

I was hoping to see a little more Pretty Den-O in action but that's Pretty much my only mild complaint.

The Black RX gag was humorous since I know he was active in that year, even though I haven't watched that show yet. Maybe after Blade.
