Classic Toei tokusatsu Giant Robo -- known in the US as Johnny Sokko And His Flying Robot -- is coming out on Region 1 DVD from Shout! Factory later this year. The 4 disc set is slated to contain the entire series and is available for pre-order on Amazon.

Giant Robo started out as manga by Mitsuteru Yokoyama, creator of Tetsujin-28 AKA Gigantor. It was then adapted into this tokusatsu, which became much more well known here in the West than the manga ever did.
