Elizabeth Olsen Joins Cast Of Godzilla

Absolute Radio has posted a brief clip in which Elizabeth Olsen, recently added to the cast of Godzilla, says that the movie is definitely not light-hearted.

In addition, Bryan Cranston(of AMC's Breaking Bad) is reported to be in negotiations to join the cast as well, according to Yahoo News.

She's quite good, so I'm glad to hear this. Before anyone asks, she's not one of the Olsen twins, she's their younger sister who's actually a very well-regarded indie actress.

That sounds great, I thought she was an Olsen twin at first. Good to hear about the movie too.

A couple of interesting casting choices. Glad to see we are avoiding the Usual Suspects for these sort of tentpole movies.

"Not for the faint of heart," heh, I'd love to see this new Amerigoji instill fear into filmgoers again!

Considering I was gonna see it, regardless of tone, knowing that it's not going to try the intentionally campy route is a breathe of fresh air.

Anyway, I don't give a **** about the actors in the movie, just show me the monster costumes already!! If I wanted to watch humans, I would watch a drama. I watch Godzilla for Godzilla.

I've heard that she's a pretty good actor (which is saying something considering who her sisters are...), so I'm willing to lean back and see how it goes. Just release the damn thing already.

The best Goji movies (in fact, the best daikaiju movies) weave together the human and daikaiju aspects. So yeah, I care what kind of actors get cast in it.
