We have just laid down the groundwork for a toku CCG based on characters from the Bouken imprint at IC Comics!

Once further research is done and a good rules system is hammered, I will put up a link so people can apply for the beta testing!

- we have downloaded 142 PDFs of many CCGS in the last... last.. almost 20 years (I saw a Highlander one from the 90s!) so now begins the arduous process of reviewing the rules and devising our own system!

Some questions answered!

- The game will feature characters from Infinity Comic's Bouken imprint

- The imprint and the CCG was inspired by: Ultraman, Mazinger, Kamen Rider/Metal Heroes/Sentai Rangers.

- Players can play as either hero or villain. We're devising a system so it'll be 2 vs 2

- There will be henshin cards

- Each hero and villain card will have special attack/defense cards exclusive to them

- There will be throwaway cards (such as generic attacks, defenses, etc)

- There will be summonable allies

- There will be "ultimate" forms for some of the characters

- There will be kaiju

- Sentai rangers... Maybe!

- And yes, yelling out HENSHIN is encouraged!

- Yes, it can be hero vs hero, villain vs hero

- The system will be action oriented without needlessly cluttered rules or stats

- We're still deciding between Kickstarted and IndieGoGo (though i was told that Indie allows you to keep the $$ if
you dont meet the deadline and you can continue to try and raise money)

I haven't been a fan of CCG (I blame my failed attempt at getting in to MAGIC: The Gathering) but this looks promising and I have all the high hopes in the world for what you guys are doing.

I have run the system I created in an hour (thank you depressive episode of bipolar 3 and ADHD) past 3 CCG experts and they love the ease of use the variety of cards!

This is what we have so far! We've decided to release everything into a boxed set and release new hero & villain cards as time progresses

wanted artists who can draw in a *serious* manga style. that means NO cutesy stuff. you must also be able to draw comic panels.drawing splash pages/pinups is certainly not enough for any comic book.
