Do we know what ancient dino the Deinosgrander is base on? It looks like a prehistoric crocodile. I guess the drilling is to mimic a croc's 'death spin'.

It's based on the Dienosuchus.

How come Sentai isn't here to gush about Candi's performance? I'd admit I am actually hyped to see her since she doesn't appear all that often. Very nice ep talking about Ian's past and this time the deboss monster isn't a pansy either. Hopefully we'll get more of this type of monster in the future.

I'm finding it hilarious that we finally have an episode that opens with Candi singing and Sentai is nowhere to be seen

Anyway, I wasn't actually impressed with this monster. He was a one trick pony (Strong defensive slab).
