Hope everyone likes Kou, because the show is going to be all about him for a pretty decent chunk of episodes.

I found Kou to be one of those characters that starts off grating, but grows into one of the stronger moments of the series.

Really? Because I felt that even though he was the 6th ranger, he was still only in a small portion of it. It isn't like the current era where the sixth ranger comes in all badass and then gets his ass handed to him every episode afterwards. KibaRanger, like DragonRanger, will be in an episode, then he won't appear for like 2 episodes, then he will be back, then gone, etc.

Eventually, yeah. After Akamaru gets knocked off for the first time Kou really fades into the background, but when he first showed up I remember it feeling like I was watching The Kibaranger Show with special guest stars Dairanger for most of the late teens/early twenties.
