For 20 years, the Power Rangers have protected the Earth from all evildoers. Whether they be aliens, witches, robots, an evil team of rangers, demons, and even mutants. The Power Rangers have always defended the world from all of the evil within the world, and have come out on top countless times. And they are powerful. Only the best of the best have the honor of becoming a ranger.

But who is the most powerful? Which of these warriors are the best of the best? The ones that have done the most to defend the Earth. The ones that are the deadliest?

This tournament is here to finally set in stone who out of the 20 years of Power Rangers is the deadliest. The fights will be brutal, the strategies will be thought provoking, and the outcomes will be definite. There can be only one Deadliest Ranger!

Each battle will take place as one on one scenarios. Each ranger will have with them all of their signature weapons and skills from the point in time they are being discussed. Along with their ranger abilities, their civilian ones will be put on the line as well.

Each fight will be decided under the rule of most votes towards one ranger. All voting will be done in discussion, as to give each character an equal chance at victory instead of a popularity contest. This is why all of these bouts will be decided WITHOUT any polls. The only way to vote is to discuss it.

The subjects of discussion will be simple. Each battle will have an equal number of categories for each ranger in it. These categories will be:

- Weaponry
- Civilian powers and skill (such as fighting skills, and any special powers they have)
- The amount of armor of their suit
- How the suits look visually

Weaponry in itself will be divided into different categories. Those are:

- Basic weaponry (such as a standard blaster or sword)
- Signature weapon
- Special Weapon
- Ultimate Weapon

Also, each battle will take place in an environment that suits both rangers. This way, it gives a sense of a battlefield strategy to the fights.

Now with the formalities out of the way, let the fight begin!

Red Bracket - Round 3

Round three should be a fierce one. And that aint helped by our combatants:

Tommy Oliver - Zeo Ranger 5 (Zeo)


VS

Leo - Galaxy Red (Lost Galaxy)


The rangers in this round's fight have a bit of mystical power on their hands. But that doesn't stop them from having their own arsenal of weapons.

Representing Zeo, Tommy comes packed with:

Basic Weapon: Zeo Laser Pistol
Signature Weapon: Zeo Laser Blade
Special Weapon: Zeo Power Sword
Ultimate Weapon: Defender Wheel

And for team Lost Galaxy, Leo is armed with:

Basic Weapon: Quasar Saber
Signature Weapon: Transdagger
Special Weapon: Quasar Launcher
Ultimate Weapon: None

For this battle, the two rangers will duke it out in a desert with a few mountains around them.

Both teams harnessed mystical powers, but which ranger is the strongest. Will it be the magical non military Tommy? Or the magical somewhat military Leo? Only you can decide.

so the fact that MMPR demonstrated tommys martial arts skills better than what happened in zeo doesnt count? wanna get straight first.
with that said unmorphed tommy beats leo even if not necessarily depicted as a martial arts master.once morphed i think at normal power levels its an even fight. once leo goes lights of orion, the tide sways in his favor. should be a brutal fight, but ultimately i feel leo wins.

The Zeo Powers are supposed to continuously get stronger, but I usually say that only happens as long as the powers are being used, otherwise King Mond would have been no match for such raw ancient power. I bring it up because I will be treating Tommy as "A day after Good as Gold," having all the power and skill up to that point. Likewise with Leo and his skill level by the end of Journey's End, Part 3.
Tommy can increase in stature as seen by the final battle with King Mondo, though I'm writing that out because Tommy would just cause an unfair match that way.

Now the weapons are fairly balanced between both combatant, 2 swords and a gun. However, the Quasar Launcher is a bazooka. Granted, bazookas are designed as recoilless rocket antitank weapons and as such, don't have the functionality that a basic blaster does. Similarly, the Defender Wheel, while powerful, is not implied to be able to turn, meaning that Leo could just tuck and roll. Thus the Quasar Launcher and the Defender Wheel are both impractical under most circumstances. Though Leo has shown that he can use heavy firepower in close range.

The Lights of Orion and the Zeo Crystal are both mystical power boosts for the rangers, but Zeo Crystal gives a boost that increases with time while the Lights give a small capped power boost across-the-board along with a gauntlet. Since the Zeo Powers increase with time and as such will at least lessen Tommy's fatigue considering the battle will probably only last about 35 minutes.
Leo's fire powers are good for creating a hazard on the field, but the field in this scenario doesn't have much that can burn, so the ability is rather weak in comparison.

Tommy wins in my book, but that's just because he has a more versatile blaster weapon and a magic Red Bull crystal. If the field war flammable and Leo had a more versatile ranged weapon, he would have had a greater edge over Tommy.
