I had a thought pop into my head while thinking on the only episode of Go-Bust I've seen, the first one.
We know thanks to the French leak of the last episode how Megaforce Ends. Something that big happens everyone in the world is going to know about Angel Grove and the Power Rangers. Well, what if after they save the world at the end of Super MegaForce.. The next team to come along knows, seeing the destruction and lives lost, that they need to be back in the shadows. A secret orgization. So they become the Power Rangers Covert-Ops. |

Continuity is Power Ranger is very minor, In Space had an invasion the scale of Zangyack and it was mentioned once in Lost Galaxy and by Ninja Storm Power Rangers were back to being thought of as comic book stories, so I doubt it'll have any long-term effects on future seasons.

Honestly, with Go-Busters featuring an organisation, I'm kinda hoping that if continuity plays a part at all, with the Power Rangers revealed to the world, the Rangers commodity is bought out by a Private Corporation which makes it own Power Rangers Special Forces.
At the start of the series, they are shown as a force for good, combining all the Emergency Services into one unit (with giant robots), but as they series progresses the privatized nature of the organisation makes it clearer and clearer that 'justice' is just a part of the brand image and all the people they have saved up to this point, have just been publicity stunts rigged so the Rangers cannot lose, as the Rangers have no skills and were picked exclusively for their appearances, that the Rangers were never about saving people, they were about making money off of merchandise. But then as Enter enter the fray, a group of deadly cyber terrorists, the Rangers are suddenly posed with a very real threat and are torn between their own sense of justice, but then also the limitations placed upon them by the greedy corporate heads, who don't care about justice and only about lining their pockets. While also realising that when they are locked in real combat, and not just the false publicity stunts, it isn't as easy as they thought it was. They're going to need to train, and develop true skills, and become heroes! Can justice win out against consumerist greed?!?! I am aware this is way to on the nose and would never happen, but yeah.

I expect there will be some kind of cyber espionage slant on things, with the heroes working for some military unit, but thats just me. The bad guys will at least have a human lead with the adapted Enter character, if not more humans, it would certainly allow a lot more storytelling options.
Id love to see Beet and Stag to arrive as 2 glory seekers that always fight over the limelight, no robots, no avatars, just people. Then by the end they evolve into true heroes, maybe with one sacrificing himself as Jin did |
