CHESHOU!

Photographer Shihisho brings us yet another S.H.Figuarts photo gallery, this time taking a look at Space Sheriff Sharivan, the third of the Figuarts Metal Hero releases.

Done in an exquisite ruby red finish, Sharivan includes his signature Laser Blade weapon in both normal and light up forms in addition to an alternate head with eyes painted on and the usual assortment of swappable hands.

Funny, I was just wondering to myself earlier today when this guy was out. He looks great, but I wonder if he has the same wrists as the Gavans :/

Hopefully the new wrist designs they have with Kabuto end that problem, shame they couldn't do it with him. Those Metal Hero figures are pretty.

99.9% of Figuarts don't have this problem though, and the way to fix it isn't using worse Figma wrists. It's either strengthening the wrists they use, or using a SAS-type wrist, which is basically reverse Figma. The wrist is a highly articulated peg, that moves quite freely, and the hands fit on snugly. This also lends to an easier time moving wrists when a figure has cuffs on their arms, because you can pull out the hand a bit, and still retain articulation.

Figma wrists are bad. There's a reason why the Attack on Titan figures use Figuarts wrists.
