I find it hard to believe there isn't a board games thread, so if there is one feel free to merge this or whatever.

I love board games, Christmas time is the time I play them most with family, though.

Just got back from hours and hours of Blood Bowl, we use Heroclix figures, cut them off the bases and reattach them to spare Blood Bowl bases so they fit, then make up elaborate rules to incorporate the powers of each hero and then just got mental. The first night we played I lost seven nil, as the likes of Abomination and his super human strength landed all my reserves, and nine of my players in the hospital.



I'm also a HUGE fan of solo board gaming, I'd actually much rather sit down and play a board game than I would a video game, Games like Chainsaw Warrior provide a much, much better solo experience than any video game in my experience.

Anyone else a fan of board games?

And would Cards Against Humanity and Apples to Apples count?

I've never heard of Cards Against Humanity, but I may have to grab that for the next time I go down and see my friends.
