Yes. This is very fanfic'y. That's why I'm posting it in the Fan Fic forum. However, having watched Kyoryuger, there's opportunity to turn this in to an excellent wrap up for MMPR through Dino Charge. I wrote this out and Sentai Tamashii demanded I post it for everyone to read.

NOTE: The name "Justin" worked fine until I remembered we already have a Justin in Power Rangers. Oh well. I wanted something with a J, so maybe Jordan would have been better.

KYORYUGER ADAPTION - POWER RANGERS DINO CHARGE

When an evil bounty hunter arrives from deep space to retrieve an ancient power source derived from the DINO PRISMS, it's up to the POWER RANGERS DINO CHARGE to protect the Earth! Using the ancient power of the DINOSAURS, the POWER RANGERS will CHARGE UP to save the world!

22 years ago, an evil sorceress named RITA REPULSA attempted to conquer the Earth. Her reasons were never fully explained - but she, and her lord and master, LORD ZEDD - would eventually be defeated by the MIGHTY MORPHIN POWER RANGERS and their mighty DINO ZORDS.

Now an evil space alien bounty hunter has arrived with one goal in mind - find, collect, and use the power of the DINO PRISMS to resurrect a great evil.

CAST OF CHARACTERS
TRUEHEART - Mentor (bird man)
When the bounty hunter first arrives on Earth, he is confronted by a man shroud in white cloth. They battle briefly until the bounty hunter uses dark magic to curse the shrouded man, turning him in to bird-man, a form resembling a monster. He returns to a secret base of operations and invokes something called "OPERATION DINO CHARGE".

JUSTIN LEE - Red Ranger (caucasian)
The Red Ranger is Justin Lee, a strong-willed and physically fit young man of 18 years of age. He is an accomplished martial artist and always in good spirit. He is very loyal to his friends and very confident in their mission to protect the Earth. When he was but a boy, his father left him to embark on a special mission and he has not seen him since.

BRANDON TAYLOR - Blue Ranger (African American)
The Black Ranger is Brandon Taylor, a fun-loving teenager of 16 years of age. His fighting style is very energetic and expressive. He jokes that he's a martial artist trained in "hip-hop-kido", something he learned from his father.

RYAN PARK - Green Ranger (Asian American)
The Green Ranger is Ryan Park, a martial artist trained heavily in various sword play. He is 16 years of age. He takes his training very seriously - sometimes almost too seriously - and doesn't allow himself much time for the fun that his other Rangers have. His dream is to become a master swordsman and open his own dojo to train future students.

DAVID DeSANTOS - Black Ranger (Mexican American)
The Black Ranger is David DeSantos, an 18 year old who is very vain and believes himself to be smooth with the ladies. He is extremely talented at firing the DINO BLASTER, and is known for being a sharpshooter with any firearm. David is more interested in having fun and seeing what being a POWER RANGER can bring to him in terms of material wealth, fame, and adoration from the girls.

SARAH HART - Pink Ranger (caucasian)
The Pink Ranger is Sarah Hart, an 18 year old gymnist. She hasn't seen her mother, an Olympian gymnist, in years as they both train but have been kept apart because of their training. She adores the Red Ranger Justin and has a crush on him, but doesn't allow herself to act on her feelings because she knows as soon as they are finished being POWER RANGERS, she must return to the life of training for the Olympics.

CHRISTOPHER - Gold Ranger (Native American)
A swordsman with a mystical background. He claims his father was the brother of an original POWER RANGER, but the others do not believe him. He claims to have had a vision that leads him to believe that the RED RANGER must be protected at all costs in order to save the world - and dedicates his time with the POWER RANGERS in doing just that.

MAJOR PLOT POINTS
Trueheart is a play on Tommy Oliver's actual last name revealed in POWER RANGERS ZEO as TOMMY TRUEHEART. The GOLD RANGER, CHRISTOPHER, is the son of TOMMY'S brother, DAVID (deceased). The shrouded individual we see in the beginning is TOMMY OLIVER, who has been searching for the DINO PRISMS since his time on POWER RANGERS DINO THUNDER. He, along with ETHAN (Dino Thunder Blue Ranger) developed the DINO CHARGERS, which draw power from the DINO BATTERIES, allowing our heroes to morph in to POWER RANGERS DINO CHARGE.
TOMMY'S bird form is actually a physical representation of the time he spent drawing on the power of the FALCONZORD from MIGHTY MORPHIN POWER RANGERS, as the FALCON was his SPIRIT ANIMAL (MIGHTY MORPHIN POWER RANGERS THE MOVIE). He realizes that the only way to stop the resurrection of LORD ZEDD is to call upon the POWER RANGERS DINO CHARGE and begin his plan on unlocking the ultimate power of the Earth, and puts out a call to an old friend that "...it's time."
At the end of the series, TOMMY will break the curse and regain his human form, morphing in to the SILVER RANGER and calling upon the power of the BRACHIOZORD, playing up that the BRACHIOZORD from DINO THUNDER has been rebuilt for DINO CHARGE.
TOMMY will eventually have his DINO CHARGER stolen by a familiar face who has turned evil.

When the POWER RANGERS need more help, TRUEHEART will send out a call across the cosmos to someone he believes can lend a helping hand. An older man will appear with a teenage girl beside him. This will be BILLY, the original BLUE RANGER from MIGHTY MORPHIN POWER RANGERS, returning from his time on AQUATAR. He will bring with him the AQUAZORD, created on AQUATAR to be the final line of defense against any invasion. With LORD ZEDD on the brink of being brought back to life, BILLY gives the POWER RANGERS the AQUAZORD. As he prepares to leave, the POWER RANGERS are being defeated by three powerful monsters. Not being able to stand by and do nothing, he morphs in to the PURPLE RANGER. However, the side-effects of aging that caused him to leave Earth in the first place begin to take effect again, and he is unable to finish the battle. He returns to AQUATAR but leaves the teenage girl in his place. She reveals herself to be AQUESS, the daughter of BILLY, and he's left her his DINO CHARGER, but she is unable to figure out how to use it.
When the other POWER RANGERS are in danger, she overcomes her self-doubt, much like her father did, and morphs in to the new PURPLE RANGER, becoming a part of the team. However, because she is half human and half Aquition, she must remain close to water, and takes the AQUAZORD in to the ocean with her as a lab to help develop new weapons for the POWER RANGERS.

Towards the end of the series, JUSTIN will be reunited his father, JASON, who the audience will recognize immediately as the original MIGHTY MORPHIN POWER RANGERS RED RANGER. He decides to join the others in a massive battle, and just as it would appear the tide is in their favor, JASON turns on TOMMY, striking him with a blow from his own sword, demorphing him. TOMMY is hurt, and JASON takes his DINO CHARGER, and walks towards the side of the villains. He states that LORD ZEDD'S return is necessary for the greater good, and that the POWER RANGERS should stand down. Instead, JUSTIN swears that he will do whatever he has to in order to protect the Earth, even if it means fighting his own father.

The truth is that TOMMY needed JASON to take his DINO CHARGER in secret so he could begin the final phase of his plan - use the DINO PRISMS to reinvoke the power of the DINOSAURS. He does so as he sees his POWER COIN begin to glow green... He quickly grabs his cell phone and makes a call, and responds "We'll see you soon ... travel safe."

JASON reveals his true colors - a chance to get close to the villains in charge - and is defeated rather easily by one of the villains claiming that Zedd's power runs through him. Jason is expelled from the fortress, and is met by the others. The villains forces are massive ... so massive that even the entire team of 10 DINO CHARGE POWER RANGERS feel overwhelmed. It's then that a familiar "SU-KIYA!" is heard. The others turn to see TOMMY fighting some foot soldiers. But he's not alone! With him is ADAM PARK, the second MIGHTY MORPHIN BLACK RANGER! Along with him are AISHA CAMPBELL (MMPR YELLOW #2), KIMBERLY HART (MMPR PINK #1), BILLY CRANSTON (MMPR BLUE), CONNOR MCKNIGHT (DINO THUNDER RED), KIRA FORD (DINO THUNDER YELLOW), ETHAN JAMES (DINO THUNDER BLUE), and TRENT MERCER (DINO THUNDER WHITE).

JASON shakes TOMMY'S hand, and when he opens his hand, the original POWER COIN is in his hand. JASON pulls out his old POWER MORPHER and inserts the coin. All of our heroes stand in one straight line.

TOMMY addresses the others.
"Power Rangers!" he shouts. "Today we become one with the DINOSAURS that give us our powers! For them, for humanity, for the Earth - let's take care of business!"

"IT'S MORPHIN TIME!" shout the original MIGHTY MORPHIN POWER RANGERS in unison, doing their morphing pose.

"DINO THUNDER, POWER UP!" shout CONNOR, ETHAN, and KIRA.
"WHITE RANGER, DINO POWER!" shouts TRENT.

"GO GO DINO CHARGE!" shout our current cast of POWER RANGERS.

I agree. Aside from the half-Aquitian Violet Ranger, it is really fanficky. I want the Black Dino Charge Ranger to be named Ian Yorkland because that name is incredibly easy to translate into PR!

Still, it is AMAZING.

The Doctor goes in to battle and suddenly can't fight, he's too old. Billy left Earth because the side-effect from his "I'M AN ADULT AGAIN" machine was it made him too old. So the powers get passed on to a female.

Well, he was in love with the alien chick, so they had a female kid. She's half-water-people, so she has to be by water. The Pleuzon or whatever is a water-based zord. Don't forget that Kyoryu Violet even does a freakin' SWIM THROUGH WATER pose!

I think you misread my post: I CHAMPION the idea of having Billy's child becoming a Ranger at any chance they get. I have hoped Orion is that very character back before Megaforce maliced my expectations with a shoehorn!

I'd just also really like the only direct carryover from Kyoryuger to be KyoryuBlack's name.

Wait, isn't Lord Zedd alive and good as of the end of In Space? What, is the bounty hunter keeping human form Zedd locked up until he can turn him evil again? Assuming you didn't change the evil he's trying to ressurect from over in the "how would you do Super Megaforce' thread.

Also, point of fact, the MMPR did not actually ever defeat Zedd and Rita. Rita and Zedd actually destroyed both sets of MMPR powers and were chased away by the Machine Empire before they ever battled the Zeo Rangers. If any rangers can be said to have defeated Rita and Zed, its the Space Rangers.
