How do TRU preorders work?
Do you pay the moment you pre-ordered it or when it's actually in stock?

I ask because I preordered it back in December (Before it was taken down), and that preorder still shows up, but the payment method was with a card that expired in January...

On TRU when you pre-order, their system will ping your card to see if there are funds available, and those funds will be "held" a few days while they process everything. You'll get the funds back, and then you'll "officially" be charged on the same card when the item ships.

Since your card expired, I'd give TRU a call to hash out your payment information so there are no delays when it's released.
