The way Godness Mashiro broke into the lair via skylight was very phantom thief of him.
Meanwhile, Tegasword tries to be a dad.

The episode, as is customary in Gozyuger, goes into the slump, not afraid of turning into a farce. Almost everyone dies, and the culprit turns out to be the most unpredictable. But I also see some foreshadowing in it, especially considering the special role of mechs in this show. Speaking of mechs: the family feud between Tega Sword and Tega Nagare/GoodeBorne puts the show's main robot in a less than flattering light.
As if Ryuga wasn't disappointed in his deity, considering his own relationship with his family. Of course, Tega Sword says that Mashiro shouldn't be trusted, but without any examples, it sounds very unconvincing.
It's also interesting that here the mechs use people in their fight. A funny reversal.
And, of course, the appearance of Dark Daizyuzin, who absorbed the power of other mechs.T he preview promises that in order to defeat him, Hoeru will team up with Mashiro, which means the Sixth Senshi will become much closer to the main team. And, of course, I can't help but note the interesting twist with the design of No-One Detective. It turned out great.

Pat is so far the only Aryee to survive the episode, despite his introduction as a corpse. Glad for Fire Candle that he gets to hold on to one of his many friends. How did Kumade identify the rigor mortis though? I can't even see the Aryee's skin.

I was looking forward to this episode, since murder mystery plots are great for audience participation. The culprit becomes clearer as Sumino gathers the evidence, but even by the accusation, I still hadn't realized it was Bear Devil of all people. He's so small that I forgot he was present. Ryugi's hint should've clinched it, since the suspect Kumade was too obvious.

Why is Hoeru so cautious of receiving Kumade's bills anyway? Bear Devil claims that they make a lot of money this way, but we've never actually seen anybody pay them, only tear them.

I don't condone how Kumade keeps antagonizing Hoeru, Ryugi and Sumino, so I was definitely rooting for Sumino and Tega Sword to win this fight. But yeah, Tega Sword's insensitive way of talking down to his unwanted son makes me sympathize with Goode Burn, for whom only Kumade has shown kindness and respect, in his own "pray to your god" kind of way.

I have a feeling that the falling out between TegaSword and Mashiro is a result of mutual misunderstanding.

Though the funny thing about that part is that folks at Tieba are actually sympathizing with TegaSword as they criticize GoodeBurn's accussation against his "dad", likening it to victim blaming the rape victim...

Well, judging by the preview of the next episode, they decided not to drag out the antagonism. It's hard to actively fight each other when you regularly have to control a mech together.

The problem so far is that Tega Sword doesn't give any arguments in his favor. Mashiro is angry because he was frozen for a thousand years and then found out that his wish didn't come true. In turn, Tega Sword can only confirm this and mumble something vague about Mashiro being dangerous. In my opinion, this is not an equal position at all.

Oh, they've gone to a very dark place. But even from that perspective, it's obvious that it's wrong to project feelings about an abuser onto a child.
