I am an artist, ergo, I do art. Now, if I didn't do Kamen Rider-related art, then this thread wouldn't exist. Probably.
Anywho, I does art. Keep in mind the art I'm about to show you is pretty old, like I'd say by a couple of months earliest. ![]() This first one is far before I heard of Drive, created right around the start of Gaim. Now I feel like a fool with the design because of Drive. His name is Wheelz, based off of motor vehicles. I actually planned out a gimmick with this one, in the form of Drive Wheels! Boy, do I feel stupid. One of them is called the Chase Wheel! Another is the Go Wheel! Boy. Do I Feel Stupid! Now, as a heads up, several of my pictures pull double duty and feature another being on them. Nothing breaks the rules, but none of what I don't talk about would be tokusatsu. ![]() The second picture is my first interpretation of the rumored (at the time) Kamen Rider Drive! Or, as the title indicates, Drive? Again, at the time, Drive wasn't revealed, and just a rumor on the Grape Vine. I pulled various sources and rumors for this one, and incorporated a few of my own. Given that this is what I thought Drive could look like before the series was started, you can guess the timeline for this one. ![]() The Winter King is more of a generic Tokusatsu design that I had intent to turn into a winter-themed Kamen Rider character, done in late April. However, I've kept on to the design, and am planning on reconfiguring him into a new Kamen Rider, Kamen Rider North. There's loads more of even more random things located at my DeviantART, and not a lot of them are Tokusatsu. Well, except for that Dalek Kaijin I did based on a web fan video I think we all have seen... |

![]() Once again I dipped into the world of Random Trait Drawing Game. This time, I got Eagle, Totem, and Microchip, among others. This led me to create a kind of digital superhero, as if a totem animal could power you up inside a digital landscape. Ergo, Cyber Totem. I actually fell into a major slump after this one in which I didn't draw much of anything at all. ![]() Music is a wonderful thing. If I didn't have it, this guy may never have been drawn at all! This guy is a concept I've had rattling around in my head for a long while now, of 4 Kamen Riders who represent warriors from the 4 cardinal directions, Samurai East, Gunsligner West, Viking North, but I have yet to decide of South. I want to do something African for Kamen Rider South. His transformation trinket is that axe that he is holding, which also doubles as his primary weapon. I also know what his upgrade form is, and what it'll wield. However, this design isn't quite finished yet. I'd call this a good 2nd draft, but there are things that I'd like to alter on any final edition.

Sadly, these next images are not completed, and they are unlikely to be completed. For whatever reason I could not work up the will to finish them, and I have noticed that I have that problem a lot.
First Up: A better American Stereotype than Starninger. ![]() The hat on this fellow gave me the trickiest of times, and it's the part that I am least happiest with. However, I wanted this guy to be the thin one of the group. North is the bulky one, this guy is thin and stick-like, and the other two are supposed to be average. He's also a die-hard Gunslinger type. I gave him fancy boots with stirrups, though they are hard to see, a fancy hat, and as much West stuff as I could. But he also differs a lot from traditional Rider design. Your average rider design tends to focus on the chest-plate, the helm, and the shoulder-pads. Here, the Shoulderpands are underdeveloped, and the chest-piece is covered. Mainly because I had no freakin' idea of what to do for it at the time. I also wanted a pose where he was spinning the revolving portion of his gun. The concept is that in order to activate the finishing attack for West, he'd spin the...spinney thing. I am not a gun expert. As a final note, each of the Cardinal Riders has an elemental theme attached to them. It may get more obvious with East, but North was water, even if it was Ice. West here is Wind. And next: A lamer Samurai steretype than Gaim. Le Sigh... After Gaim, you just can't Samurider. ![]() Sadly, the gravest error on this sketch is no logo. I didn't attach a name to him, though he is the blazing blade, Kamen Rider East! I felt like I borrowed a bit too much from Gaim's design here, but Gaim is the ultimate Samurai Rider, and it's hard not to do a Samurai Rider that doesn't passingly resemble Gaim somehow. This one is more traditionally designed for Kamen Riders, though. North was pretty heavily covered all the way around, and West wore more clothing-like stuff. However, East here has more of his armor as chestplate, shoulderpads, and a helm, as well as hip guard. Another personal failure of mine is the Belt Buckle. Astute viewers will notice that each rider's belt isn't a gimmick piece, and more like a part of their clothing. North had a Viking Head, West had a Sheriff Star, but East? A sunrise. I don't know that much about Japan, so I don't know what would be a suitable belt buckle for East. Anywho, his personal weapon is his katana, and his element is fire.
