I know!
First Gentaro died by Ryusei's hands, Shinnosuke died by Freeze's hands and now THIS! Hearing the end.... mom's involved! His dad saved him... now it's mom's turn. But I wonder... what would be special about Yurusen? |

Yes I been wondering about that myself about Yurusen? I think the mother soul is inside of Yurusen or one of the eyecons. Can't wait to learn more about his mother. |

Saionji create coverless Ghost Driver in the past.....interesting.....
Hmm..what happened to Saionji's Ghost Driver after his death? Sometime I am really want someone use Saionji's Ghost Driver so we have new Rider.... I am didn't expect Tutankhamun's ability can make people into mature again.... Deep Specter Gekkou Mode looks awesome and he successfully to destroy Gyro..... Next episode Takeru killed after his Ore Ghost Eyecon Destroyed? It seems this similar with Gentaro and Shinnosuke's case before they has Final Form.... I think in the next episode, the Ganmaizer who can create Earthquake show his monster form... Last edited by Blade Fang; 05-22-2016 at 01:27 AM.. |

There a lot of questions I wanna know for the next few episodes!
With Takeru killed like Gentaro and Shinnosuke, how will he be brought back to life? Will the gang used the Eyecons to wish Takeru back? Will his mother save him? What if Yurusen is his mom in disguise? How does Ghost Mugen work? |

Okay, so the backstory stuff was kind of interesting and informative, that was good. All the stuff with Shibuya and his mom continued to be really boring, though (but it was fun seeing him fighting the mooks - I kept hoping he'd pull out the Den-O Belt and suddenly make this a good show).
The ending actively pissed me off, though, to the point where I literally shouted "What is this shit" to my laptop (the laptop didn't respond). That was one of the lamest, most deus ex machina-y endings I've seen in ages: "A bunch of people are stuck as children, but it's okay because Takeru and Tutankhamen can just use their time anomaly reversal powers!" What. The. Fuck? That ability literally came out of nowhere, makes no sense in the context of anything we've seen Ghost or the Tutenkhamen Eyecon do before, and has fuck-all to do thematically with King Tut. What was the thought process here? "We need to do a Tutenkhamen storyline, what ability would be appropriate?" "Well, he died as a teenager so logically he has the power to turn de-aged people back into adults." ![]() There's bad writing and then there's lazy writing; this managed to somehow be both at the same time. I am not a big Ghost fan on the best of days, but this episode was just plain fucking awful. |

They'll probably never confirm it, and I admit I'm probably over-rationalizing here... but I think it's less that Tut has this specific power and more that each Ganmeizer has a counter Great Soul and vice versa, or something like that. So instead of Tut simply having an arbitrary ability to reverse time anomalies, he instead is able to reverse the effects of whichever Ganmeizer was responsible. I'm just suggesting this because it seems like the two groups of fifteen seem to loosely correspond with each other.

I'm with you Switchblade, I had similar reactions to this episode.
The part where Takeru visited the memories of the past was the best thing, the rest was trash. I couldn't care less about Takeru's buddy and his mom, mainly because the guy never did anything to earn my sympathy and his mother is just a horrible person. Pushing your ideals of a man on your son like that? Not good. And it wasn't even resolved in a nice way, while Takeru dropped a fitting line it didn't even matter. I also said "Come on!"out loud when his mom in child-form immediately went "You’re a prince and a real man too!" just when he picked up a stick and got his ass kicked by the Ganma. Why would she say that? Makes no sense. And the Tutankhamen bit... the only bit of sense I get out of this is that he seems to be able to open black holes, and black holes warp space and time. But how they used that to generate miniature pyramids which restore people's age and more importantly, how Japanese children are supposed to understand this, is beyond me. Tutankhamen Ex Machina. There was another thing that annoyed me a lot in this episode: Mugen Mugen Mugen. They dropped the term "Infinite Potential" so often that I felt like someone slapped the magazine previews into my face screaming "Get it?! Because "Mugen" is Takeru's final form? Get it? Get it?!", kinda like this: ![]() The worst part about this is I know I’m gonna see all those scenes again as a flashback once Takeru achieves the Mugen transformation. So yeah, I didn’t enjoy this episode, at all. Quote:

Although definitely something they should have explained in the episode itself if it's what they were going for, because it's pretty dumb otherwise. |
