I'll start with something really awesome: I got my Banana Fangire today!

As much as I can't stand Gaim, the design on that is glorious. Just let me know how his joints are and how the articulation works with the long coat. Wouldn't mind getting this guy on simple badassness.

Joints are all nice and tight on mine, to the point where I felt like it has ratchets even though they’re just the normal joints. At least in the shoulders, which makes sense because the sword is huge and the arm on my Ryugen Yomi is drooping down a little bit from holding the axe for about a year now. I don't fear this will happen with Lord Baron at all.

Skirt is okay, it hinders extreme outward leg movement as you would expect it to, but it does seem to be hinged on both sides and they do move out a little bit so you can get in there and articulate the legs just fine. To be honest the skirt is not bothering me as much as I feared, and its miles better than Kiwami Arms’ shitty cape.

But the best thing about the figure is all that molded detail and the paintjob is better than you could imagine from the promotional pictures. The glossy black lines are so gorgeous. And it’s a flawlessly executed paintjob too, at least on mine. Haven’t found a single error so far which honestly surprises me a lot. Not because SHF’s are known for crappy paintjobs or anything, they’re not, but with this many painted details I expected at least a little bit of sloppy paint. Luckily nothing to report here, it’s perfect.

Just got my The World stuff today:



Thing is, I never planned on getting any Zyuohger stuff before now. Nothing in the toyline really interested me enough to get it, but after seeing The World and his mech in action... I felt almost compelled to buy it. I feel like I probably shouldn't have considering how much I spent vs how much I'm usually comfortable with spending, but... I have them now, whatever, yolo.
