I have the regular SHM Shin and it's a beautiful sculpt, like it a lot.

But wow they just keep releasing the same figure. hahahah

Why would they give articulation to a creature that never moved!?

So people can take photos of it in hilarious or awkward moments such as writhing in pain on the floor after Ex-aid kicked it in the shins or holding a scale model teacup or a sushi boat or put it in a diorama where it is drinking sake with Daizyujin.

Ultimately probably because Bandai doesn't need to make new casts and just reuse it to make a variant and slap an exclusive label on it. Less work mo money mo money mo money.
