Hasbro has taken Power Rangers. I just wonder if they'll adapt Kamen Rider? They make original footage in it.

But anyway, if there would be KR adapted in US/Canada, what would be a good number of seasons you'd choose to pick? Anything to make the series feel a bit like the Arrowverse.

Choose the best rider season to be the first, the others as later.

I could go for Build... maybe a later for Zero-One. The others I could choose Ex-Aid, Drive & Gaim. Zi-O & Decade are a problem.

EX-Aid since Xbox is more popular in USA than Japan and there's the possibility of a PR crossover if Kyuranger ever gets adapted.

Zi-O since the kana visors are similar to the kanji visors of Power Rangers Samurai and you could make a story similar to Shattered Grid.

Shinobi since ninjas are always the correct answer.

None. I'm not a big fan of Hasbro and they already have license agreements or outright own too many properties (that I actually like) for my taste. Any Rider figures that resulted would be out of scale with what is already on the market, and likely utilize gummy/rubber joints which I really dislike.

I realize this is a very "grumpy nerd" post, but I just don't really want to see Rider adapted for a Western audience again. I'd rather see it imported.

I mean, the short answer is "whichever show has the most dinosaur-themed costumes", right?

My pick, for similar Shit Kids Love reasons, would be Drive. I think a car aesthetic makes for pretty appealing toys, the main dude's red, and the secondary Rider is basically Speed Racer. Add in a Driver that speaks English, and you've got a decent framework for an Americanized Kamen Rider show.

It's really weird that we haven't had a Dinosaur-based season, or at least more Dinosaur riders in general. There was Putotyra, the Fang Memory, and... and I think that's everything? Maybe some of the dragons would count? The Ryusoulger ridewatch???? Zero-One has an entire subline of Keys dedicated to extinct animals and they don't even have a T-rex!

It would sincerely not shock me if Hasbro's version of Kamen Rider is OOO, but the base suit is PuToTyra.

I'mma say Build because it has the most core themes of what kamen rider is... albeit hasbro doesnt have to keep the themes of anti-facism, working together to fight evil, etc

Also if we're allowed pre-decade hesei blade, kabuto, faiz or den-o.
