Either Wizard was proposing to her, or he must've given her the ring as a way of contacting him in case she needs help.

Makes sense. We haven't seen Wizard's symbol yet, have we? I'll bet that little stylized Wizard-face on that ring is his symbol.

ok, I am a fan. I like dramatic flair, what can I say...and he has it. This could have a VERY cool vibe. Zero aprehension for the potential of this show...

The lead character looks kind of like Wataru...but I'm getting a bad ass vibe from him, so it's all good.
