Among the myriad of debates in this franchise, one is the fate of Trini!
Given the real-world events regarding Thuy, some have theorized that Trini is no longer available to serve as Yellow anymore in the context of the fiction! It's a distressing and depressing argument to say the least. If this follows the OG 1993 MMPR cast (and not the modern-day BOOM! Interpretation), will Johnson reference the fan-theory or not? Was the Yellow who appeared in Super Megaforce and Beast Morphers the same Trini we remember? |

I always thought it was best to let Trini simply move on. She participated in a peace conference and transferred her powers. Perhaps unlike others, she opted to stop fighting so she could change the world in other ways.

The way I heard it was that "Countdown To Destruction" was much bigger than what we saw on-screen and Past Rangers may have been involved in some capacity. This makes a lot of sense, but to suggest that one or two were lost this way...
