Mighty Novel X is a visual novel, how did I not realize this until now?!? Anyways, cool I guess. Nice to finally have a design for Bang Bang Tank Gamer.

And here I though the Sephiroth resemblance was accidental, but the label with Genm holding a seemingly random katana pretty much confirms they did have that in mind. Makes sense though. As far as videogames go, among evil ass characters with seemingly godly power and flowing, long hair to confidently tie the existing Muteki Gamer dreadlocks in, Sephiroth does come to mind. Makes me kind of wish they designed a stupid looking giant sword for him to use as well, but that might?ve been too much. Anyways, the Musou Gamer Gashat is neat. As I did not buy any Ex-Aid toys, what mold does it use? Kuroto twists the plate on it around so I assume the Para-Dx one, just without the game-switching action? The Kuroto Dan Progrise Key is great, because Kuroto Dan. I imagine it has lots of weird and fun voices recorded inside too. The Thousand Ark Key seems entirely pointless as the transformation sound uses no new jingle whatsoever; it's just a mix of Ark and Thouser. Fitting, but boring. I guess it's an easy way to make money, and t does have new Gai sounds I presume. Mighty Novel X and Bang Bang Tank come entirely unexpected and I kind of love that they do that, seems like a great thing for Ex-Aid collectors to have. Bang Bang Tank especially, if memory serves it was sued in the final episode, as an auxiliary one, not for transformation, but still. |

That's more of a Cloud thing, so they should give it to whoever the next kitbash suit they make to fight Genm in the inevitable follow-up.

				 | Quote: But giving a reused suit fashioned after Sephiroth a weapon inspired by the Buster Sword just because doesn't work out IMO. It needed to be a big-ass katana for the full effect. If anything they could've given him a giant, wacky CG blade for the finisher. But at some pointed an homage ends and infringement begins, and as far as a Sephiroth inspired Kamen Rider goes, which I have to say is crazy enough of a concept as is, we already won with what we've got. |

I do think that the new Gashat set is quite cool, and I might pick it up if the local importer gets it, but I'll have to see. At this point I might just try to get all of the original Ex-Aid releases and not bother with a potential (super-expensive) future CSM. If they decided to do these out of nowhere now, seems like they're not doing a CSM version any time soon.

It's cool we finally have Mighty Novel X and Bang Bang Tank in toy form. And it's also cool we got Kuroto Dan's Humagear Progrisekey as I was thinking they wouldn't choose to release something that was used one, but with them releasing Bang Bang Tank and the written Novel-exclusive Mighty Novel X, they might as well. |

I assumed as much, thanks for confirming it! That could've worked, but I feel like neither are close enough in size and doing a new weapon is out of the question I would think. Better not to do it and let Kamen Riders do Kamen Rider things. |

Nice to see them continuing the trend of stuff-we-put-in-the-show-but-never-released items. Wonder what's next? The Aqua Belt? Killbas Spider?
