New month new hauls!

I think this is the most I've ever spent on a single order. Storm Collectibles, figma and Mafex delayed right into Missing Link Convoy month. Oof.

But looking through the plastic windows - worth it.

Haven't shared new stuff lately but did get in SHFUpgrade's Buffa eye add-ons. Expecting Tycoon's tomorrow.

They look fantastic. As close to official as you can get.

How is that Optimus Prime? (Or is it Battle Convoy?) I've been low-key wanting a solid Optimus figure for years and I do enjoy the retro vibe of that one.

I own that Missing Link Convoy -- it's fantastic. If you're not a fan of the Matrix chamber in every Optimus' chest nowadays, you can pop the whole thing out to have the original Diaclone seats (which I believe are scaled to the Diaclone reboot Dianauts?) The transformation despite the improved articulation is still very quick and smooth, and the robot mode is a wonderful blend of its original robust chunkiness and modern joints with *really* nice ratcheted elbows and knees. Hell, even tilting the foot up swings out a hidden heelspur! The trailer is pretty much your typical G1 trailer, but they've removed the original Roller launcher in favor of a removable combat deck.

It's pricey, and while there's a toy deco and a cartoon deco I think if you're gonna lean in the direction of "the toy but updated" you gotta go all the way, which the toy deco does. I really can't get enough of the fact the sticker detailing is now sculpted and painted.

SHF SS3 Goku and MUI Goku (Toyotaro Edition): I really wish that the SS3 hair was made out of hollow plastic, but it's otherwise a fine figure. As for MUI, it's pretty nice all around, though I dunno, the faces feel slightly off to me. Might track down the original release and do a face swap and see how it turns out.



Rogue Sun Volume 3: This series is still infuriatingly bad and I don't recommend reading it. Only got this because I'd already pre-ordered it back when I first started reading.



Fwoosh Toys Skeleton: A solid little figure that'll be a nice addition to my mook army.



Backchannel Volume 1: The last comic Stan Lee worked on directly before he died. It's pretty interesting so far, though it is definitely a shame that Stan passed right as the story was starting to pick up.



GameDimensions Kazuya, Jin, and Heihachi: I said I was gonna support this line, didn't I? I wish they had some more paint apps, but overall I like them.



Sora Amiibo: I now have every Amiibo I really wanted. Any others at this point are just extra.



1000Toys Master Chief: Probably the best Master Chief figure made to date. Great detailing and articulation, though I do wish the ankle tilt were better.



Memorial SPD License: Figured I should pick this up since I doubt we're ever getting a Lightning Collection SPD Morpher. Debating on what the next Morpher I pick up should be, but atleast I now have my top 2.



MAFEX Shin Ultraman: The "First Appearance" figure is a late birthday present from a friend of mine. But overall these are great figures and I really hope Medicom makes a Mefilas figure for the line in the near future.



Ultra Replica Evoltruster: My first Ultra roleplay toy, in honor of the show that got me fully into the franchise. Not a fan of how it doesn't come with physical instructions though. They make you scan a QR Code to see them. Lame.
