I've been feeling "meh" on SMP choices for a while - they've been focusing on teams that don't appeal to me - but this, I could get into.

Theoretically, but they could also choose to go return to previous lines and finish them, like finally giving us Mega Voyager, or the Steel Starbeasts.

Those would probably be in addition to the annual series, not in place of. Like they did with Tetraboy. Lets see we have 3 70's series left, six 80's series left, 2 90's series left. 8 00's series left (counting Magiking), 10 2010's series left, too soon to do 2020's (Also the quality of recent minipla sets have been not too far below SMP, though defiantly below).

And while it does look like They've switched to a rotating decades pattern, the previous two years was 00' to 90's.

since they switched to SMP, its been 00's, 90's, 80's, 90's, 00's (with MagiKing)
