Recently saw a kiwami arms figuarts and glad I took Den-O's pro-tips. Personally for an ultimate form the end product felt a little "cheap" compared to Orange and Kachidoki.

I'm kind of hoping N-Y gets theirs up first. I want to pay off my April pre-orders early since I'm supposed to work a convention that month. I haven't been able to find a way to do that with AmiAmi. Still, in the end, I'll just be happy to get them somewhere.

I will never understand going through a middleman for a retail release unless everywhere else has already sold out... Why pay so much more?? But that might just be me.

N-Y is a retail store (though I don't know if they have a physical storefront) and their initial prices aren't that much more than most other places. They aren't a middleman service like Yokatta or Buyee.

Anything dealing with exclusives is still undeniably a middleman service.

But the retail stuff, meh. Again, don't use them for that so never really knew if they were a real store or not. Just assumed otherwise. Still just my preference to not go there unless need be.

I like N-Y, you don't. That's fine. I'm not trying to talk you into shopping there. But considering Den-O's horror stories about AmiAmi customer service, I'm growing increasingly disinclined to do business with them. Better to pay a few bucks more now than get stuck with a lemon figure. To each his own.

Heck I've only ever pre-ordered two S.H. Figuarts, both of them from N-Y because of Thessair's encouragement. Well that and them being the first place I found what I wanted (seriously they're lightning quick with getting stuff up).
