I'm not really sure how I feel about that opening episode, I mean on the one hand, that has to be one of the cheapest looking productions I've ever seen, I've seen youtube student VFX films that look better.

HOWEVER the suit design was really, really cool, I loved the opening space battle and it's nice to have a blend of men and women again after Kamen Rider Sausagefest.

I'll give it a few more episodes.

Yeah, the video quality is pretty bad. I'm not sure if it's TV-N's or Toho's fault, but it just doesn't look good. I think it's because of TV-N, because I remember seeing footage of the first sequel, Justiriser(it looked pretty normal), and TV-N's subbed opening(OH GAWD KILL IT).

Also, Gransazer has the shame of having one of, if not the worst endings I've heard in a Tokusatsu show.

The second episode was a vast improvement over the first, it stumbled here and there but all in all I really enjoyed it.

Yeah man, all the Earth warriors have been introduced now. The mech fighting is awesome and the one on one fights have gotten a lot better. The general plot is a lot better as well.

Since I'm just bumming around at the minute I just sit inside watching Toku.

I don't really know the correct thread for this, so I guess this will do.

I just checked out Ultraman Tiga's opening episode and it was glorious, in a sort of so terrible it's awesome kind of way. Tiga really made me want to grab the popcorn and kick back ready for some lols.
