All fictions becomes dated at some point regardless of if they give a date. All I want is a general statement saying it's 50, 100, 150, 200, etc, etc, years after the last Garo so I know if it's possible for the old cast to drop in if needed. Again, it's just a nitpick on my part and I don't need it to enjoy the to enjoy the show, I'd just like to have it.

Jeez, give the show the chance to tell backstory. We don't know how he got the title or armor. Oh, and Kouga didn't earn the title or armor before making a bond with Zaruba.

We didn't know how Kouga become Garo until episode 12 in the first season. It's only been 2 episodes, just wait for some backstory and stop complaining. And how is he whiny? So far with the exception toward Burai, Ryuga is pretty cheerful and affable. Another strawman complain from Dr Kain, as always.

Yeah, I'm not seeing "whiny." To me he comes off as pretty cocky, although there are some signs of deeper emotional depth under the surface. I'm actually very curious to see how he earned the Garo armor and, hopefully, what happened to Kouga and why Zaruba is rejecting Ryuga.

Two episodes in and it's already clear how much better than all the other ongoing toku on at the moment.

Loved it. I'm really enjoying this new team dynamic, and the CGI is looking better than ever. I think I'm really going to like Rian too

I will never look at Gokai Silver in the same way again however

I agree. I love the original Alien, but it is extremely out dated due to how primitive their computers and stuff are in the movie.

I loved the second episode. Still not sure the other characters' names but I am intrigued with Ryuuga; Makai Priest Rian was hot and awesome; Burai is awesome; hilariously I haven't gotten to Gai in Gokaiger yet but I still recognized him from all the pictures I've seen and he's really good my favorite so far. The guy with the glasses and bow, I want to know more about because he's silent and we barely know anything about. This show is different and similar than Kamen Rider and Super Sentai and I am enjoying it immensely. Love the action in it, the CGI looks great but I love the out of armor battles more.

I'm finding bow guy to be the only hard name to remeber, which is funny because I have the same problem with the Quincy in Bleach and their basically the same guy.

You should watch some early Heisei Rider. While no where near as graphic, people die in horrible ways much like in Garo. In fact, Garo started about the same time Kamen Rider stopped doing that.
