				 | I think the most serious Super Sentai is Dairanger. Because they're so serious that the characters are portrayed as too weak to even beat the villains(yes, I still haven't gotten over it).

Yeah Jetman is really serious but if you're looking for a GOOD Serious Sentai, then I warn you that Jetman is pretty overrated. It isn't bad but I had it introduced to me as both the most serious and the best Sentai had to offer and...eh... |

I've seen it and while I wouldn't call it the best, or even one of the best, it is one of the better Showa series.

				 | Quote: The only Sentai I've flat out ENJOYED is Shinkenger because it's so very Japanese it just didn't work when PRs whitewashed it. Also Shinkenger is a serious Sentai (for the most part) and one I highly recommend. |

Gekiranger is serious! ...Ignoring the jungle boy main character, the incredibly odd plots Ran gets involved in, everything about Ken, Mele when she's fawning over Rio, and the Christmas episode. ... Point retracted

All this talk of Shinkenger is making me sick. Sometimes I feel like I'm the only person who was bored to death by that show
