But that's what I meant by it not having specifically to be those 3, because nothing is really tying them together in Megaforce, it could be any MMPR, Time Force and Dino Thunder ranger. Although, now I think about it, they should all be sixth rangers so they do have something that means it should be them, after all.

just becsuse it runs on those powers in sentai means nothing for us. case in point the zords in goonger vs the zords in rpm.

That's not the same though. The zords were exactly the same other than the fact they didn't talk. Changing the powers of Gozyujin requires a bunch of new footage which, while not impossible, sounds less and less of a likelihood.

My only question becomes how are they going to handle the powers. They seem to be shunning (Through not enough money, to short of notice, and plan not caring) alot of the cast members of shows where Gokai-Oh got it's abilities.

They have Samurai coming, so that handles one half of the Wild Force power. But... I thought of a question last night. Now, Saban knew this season was coming for a long while now. Maybe since before, or a little after, he got MMPR back from Disney. Right? So why the short notice? What prevented him from making these calls the week or two after? Or a day or two after he showed the footage at that one Con we all saw. Or after they announced the Megaforce cast. Part of me wonders if he did it all last minute.. because he wanted to do it last minute.

Just a thought.

In theory, they could entirely leave out Magidragon, Patstriker and Fuuraimaru, even though it would REALLY suck. It seems ridiculous and stupid, but I guess weirder things have happened and Saban isn't exactly show-casing reasonable thinking lately. They just need to only use mecha footage of fights with just Gokaioh and when he used the Goseiger/GoGo V/Boukenger finishers and episodes with Machalcon, Gaolion or ShinkenGokaioh. When you think about the fact they're condensing 52 episodes (only two of which spring to mind as having no mecha fight) into 20, I think they still have enough footage for the season. They also don't seem keen on RPM, but I feel like if they ditch Machalcon they're losing too much of their toy-line.

I suppose they could ignore Gozyujin's Ultimate Powers because they weren't as obvious as coming from certain series, even if I think that'd be really lame, but there's no possible way for them to ignore where Gokaioh's Ultimate Power mecha come from, with them all actually being mecha from the series they're tributing except for Machalcon, who is obviously designed to come from Go-Onger/RPM right down to using Engine Souls/Engine Cell Chips (Gao Lion/Red Lion from Gaoranger/Wild Force, Fuuraimaru/Mini-Zord from Hurricaneger/Ninja Storm, Patstriker/Delta Runner 1 from Dekaranger/SPD, Magidragon/Mystic Dragon from Magiranger/ Mystic Force).

I still believe they thought they could get away with using suit actors (and they may still very well think they can, judging by the letters) and realized that the adult fandom wants the actors to come back.

Just more of Saban wanting to know what the fans want, but not following through.
