I saw that, if that's all it was that's pretty cheap. They hyped that up so much they should've come up with a better dodge than that. Not that I ever expected them to reveal the name. I like Moffat Dr Who better than Russell T Davies Dr Who but the constant bait and switch has gotten incredibly tiresome. Last edited by bluesparrow; 05-19-2013 at 04:45 AM.. |

I heard a theory about John Hurt's Doctor. I like it, and am sharing it here. John Hurt isn't some future incarnation of the Doctor. But a one from his Past. One that he is so ashamed of he keeps it burried deep inside of himself, so deep and so buried that merely remembering him causes the Doctor to hurt. He is the Doctor which did the unthinkable. He is the Doctor that locked the Medusa Cascade, entrapt the Daleks and Time Lords alike within an everlasting loop of death. He is the Doctor that ended the Time War. |

That's just the rumor from that British tabloid isn't it? It sort of makes sense on the face of it I guess but didn't the later Doctors remember doing all that?

I have to give Moffat credit, that's the second series in a row where that I've found average at best, the set up for the finale has been something I've found eyeroll inducing (A wife/his name) and yet I've come away really enjoying the final episode. Perhaps more proof that I enjoy Moffat-Who in smaller doses. Out of curiousity, how would you guys rate the newer series'? For me it would probably be 1, 5, 4, 3 and then 2, 6 and 7 tied at the bottom.

Well, 5 is just hands down the best year of Doctor Who ever. After that I'd say 4, 1, and 2. Series 3 had some good moments, but was very inconsistent; same with 6. Series 7 I'm going to wait and rank after I get the box set and can see it all without the big gap in the middle. The specials year ranks at the bottom for me.
