That sounds to be a problem.
I'm actually having trouble getting past the "Chapter 0" backstory stuff for my fic and get to the actual meat of the story.

Almost finished season 3 and I enjoyed the first 2 episodes but the rest feels blaring and short for some reason I hope season 4 goes back to 26 episode formate

I'm glad you like them. The first two episodes of Season 3 get some bad rap, but they're rather enjoyable.
The rest of the season is hit and miss (I personally enjoyed it, for the most part, though).

And yes. Season 4 is confirmed for 26 episodes.

thank god season 3 now feels like it filler arc if it was an anime

It actually was. Season 3 was 13 episodes so that the total episode count would hit 65 exactly.
Because having 65 episodes means a show can officially be given out and aired in syndication.

Random! That Pony Megazord I posted a while back? It's starting to make more sense now. Except Rarity. She got screwed when they were handing out Mech Powers. Flutter and Rainbow I get being the legs, and Jack's Cannons make sense. but Rarity is a drill... because she's a unicorn? And Flutter's leg cannons just don't make any sense.
