Agito, however, has the crutch of the two secondary riders, but only one is any good. No joke, Gills spends most of his time screaming and glaring. It's like he's got this good story, but they cut it up and space it out so thin you don't get to appreciate it, and G3, while better, is largely ineffectual and not fun to watch because of how.... sucky he is until his upgrade. And to top it off, the cop drama is basically episode after episode of some smug asshole twisting events to make it seem like the G3 team sucks in the eyes of the police chief, with them sometime sgetting a few wins. But really it comes across as two children begging for a parent's attention.

To my experience, you're not wrong so far--I don't think it's "More Kuuga" though. Things seem to happen more often, they just don't seem to make a terribly large amount of sense and don't seem to troubled when they don't.

In the meantime I'm watching some Blade as well. Never having seen it, I'm curious to see how it plays.

Blade 6

Ah, the theme song's stuck in my head, finally. Been wondering when it would happen in this Blade. Anyway, the chief still lives. I figured as much.

And Tachibana's problem is literally all in his head. Though...he could still die from it unless he conquers his fear. Which might be why the other Rider's aren't experiencing this problem. Well, Hajime isn't even human but whatever.

Might be a little hard to conquer any fear though, when some creepy dude in shades is floating outside your window, glaring at you. Mysterious guy with shades also seems to know the Rider's identities. I'm going to guess and assume he's working with those mystery dudes in the vans, chasing after the chief.

Hajime seems to have been there during Amane and Koutaro's father's dying moments. So either he just happened to find him while he was dying...Or he was involved somehow...Hmm.

And now I know what Tachibana's Rider name is...Garren. It was probably mentioned before, but I never caught it. But that was a pretty suspenseful cliffhanger. The main character kidnapped....

I actually liked that Tachibana's issue is mostly just all in his head. It's a level of depth that both expands beyond 2 episodes as well as greater characterization than other secondary riders receive.

I think Blade is one of the best shows to really handle having multiple Riders effectively. All four get a ton of character development and none of them ever feel like they're just wasting space.

Anyway, I agree. I do have to say it felt like the Mutsuki stuff dragged, but otherwise, it balanced the 3 riders quite well. Aside from Garren sometimes bamfing in just for a fight scene than having no impact other than "He showed up to fight", it really felt like the characters were still growing beyond their significant character arc.

OOOs 3, once again nothing really stood out to me. I guess it's hard when I'm watching this alongside Fourze which is unlike anything Rider related I've seen so far.

Then again I really like Ankh, even if the actor himself is hideous

And it's still great fun watching Os fight.
