They are part of the design...



So technically, removing them would make the figure less accurate.
Granted, GoldPhoenix never showed up in the show, so I could care less about altering it's design, but I'm just saying

They could've included a chest piece that slightly moves their position up or makes them less noticable in another way.

True story, I actually thought Odin's shield came from Goldphoenix's chest, not his tail, until I image searched for pictures of Goldphoenix to post here xD
