It's a sad day when people in a highly successful non-union children's show are called "greedy" for being fired for asking for a pay increase, when we've been told over and over again that they get paid a tiny wage.

Show a little understanding. There's a big difference between "greed" and "getting what you've earned".

Because kids, you know, the target audience, don't even know who Jason David Frank is. He's the "face" of it to adult fans, fanboys and girls at that.

I think he's overrated. I don't hate him and he certainly does go all out for his fans, but I think he also puts his other previous cast members down because they choose not to go all out themselves.

I still don't see how asking for a raise is a bad thing. I wouldn't exactly call it greed, considering Jason wanted to send more money to his mother. It's not like the guy lives in mansion and drives a Ferrari.

And I'm not doubting Jason David Frank either, but I'm not taking his word at the end all to be all. Truth is, we'll never know the facts, and I'd rather just take the benefit of the doubt and let it go and not side with over the "he said, she said" bullshit, if you'll forgive the phrase.

I wasn't calling you out here, forgive me if my post came across as such. I just don't think it was her he was referring to. Again, I've noticed that while JDF is going all out for his fans and that's fine, he's also throwing his other actors under the bus. Even if other actors are coming out of the woodwork to ask their fans for their help, it's up to the fans to decide really.

I just know that AJJ was extremely busy with Flashpoint for the better part of a decade and hasn't had time for anything until just recently when Flashpoint was over.

I agree with this. I also think it's a sad day when people will take the word over another instead of just enjoying the show and the actors when the chance comes by to meet them in person. There hasn't been a single Ranger actor that I've heard of (besides Benta) that was nothing but polite and humble in person. While some of you may argue that's a front, the fact is, we won't ever know what goes on behind the scenes with completely certainty.

Evidence being one person's word against multiple people from multiple seasons mentioning it was non-union work with poor pay, including Karan Ashley who was one of the replacements for the people who got fired asking for more pay.

As clearly stated multiple times as well, I don't follow the off screen stuff, I'm petty and let it invade into their characters and ruin my fun so all I know is what I've read. And I've read that Trini, Jason and Zack all demanded more money, Saban refused and wrote them out.

Maybe they needed that extra money but all I know is, others stayed, they stayed until they were written out for official reasons, so either they were extremely well off anyway or it really wasn't as bad as some butthurt cast members want to make it out to be. I can't answer that and no one truly can.

And honestly I'm more willing to listen to what JDF says, being with the fans constantly and coming back for some many Power Rangers episodes, than a guy who lasted half a season and has barely been seen since.

So you are making judgements based on one person (even though he has never actually said they were greedy or anything) because you don't want to actually see all the evidence to suggest otherwise? Not trying to be rude, but that's absolutely ridiculous to put your judgement on a public forum if you feel that way, because it's totally unfair. Just because JDF likes his fans doesn't make his opinions more relevant than anyone else who's worked for PR and in all likelihood he was paid more for Dino Thunder and Super Megaforce due to his popularity. Hell, JDF has never said the working conditions were good or the pay wasn't terrible, he just hasn't complained.

I'm happy to listen to other arguments, which I have, but there is that one sob story out there and many others claiming the actors demanded more money, from multiple people who work on the show. As I can't physically ask them the reason, I have to go on the evidence.

And yes I'm aware that everyone once said the world is flat but this honestly doesn't matter enough in my life for me to go digging deep for the truth. If it does to yours, power to you, I hope you find your answers.

The majority say they demanded more money, Saban said no, good enough for me. If his mother was ill, sorry bro, my Mum died so should I go demanding more money from my employer?

Yes, I'm not debating that, I'm debating that they should be labelled as if they were greedy for it, considering what we know about the working conditions from practically every cast member from any season asked. It's your choice of words that irked me.
