You know you're a toku fan if you manage to convince your band teacher that he'd be the perfect candidate to play the Cyan Ranger in the Power Rangers adaptation of Jyuden Sentai Kyoryuger.

If you look in your cereal and see Kamen Rider OOO's name, only to realise you're eating Cheerios. But they're not Cheerios, they're just generic brand name Cheerio-like stuff. And they're not yours, they're your sister's. Also she wasn't your sister, just a girl at the cafe who smells really good and doesn't notice you watching. Also it's not a cafe, it's just the neighbor's house from three houses down the street with broken locks on the yard gates and a really laid-back dog. |

You go through the produce aisle and imagine how each and every piece of Fruit would look as Armor.

You know you're a Toku fan when you open a soda can expecting it to transform into something... only to realize it's just a soda can.

You know if you're a toku fan if you're hesitant to eat your Burger because you think it might turn into a robot.
