Was it ever explained why the Samurai toys looked nothing like they did on the show? It was like they decided to make toys like the armor from the MMPR movie, but were looking at the Shinkenger costumes.

What do you mean? All of the figures there were in the show and those modes were all used, except the metallics. Regular, Mega, Super and Super Mega were all used.

No no, those really odd look armored versions. If you go down the triangle, they are towards the back on the left side.

Those are the Mega mode Rangers, the ones that are in the PR Samurai zord cockpit scenes. They're Power Ranger only forms, created pretty much just to sell more toys.

Ohh, I haven't watched Samurai yet. I'm probably going to do so after I finish Shinkenger next week just out of curiosity more than anything else.

Anyway, watching Shinkenger got me in the mood to do this:

Although from this angle you can barely tell (>.<) I've got Tommy's flute playing pose down, I didn't realise you have to clip the handle in place on the left hand which is where all the security is, then just balance the right hand on the handle and you can achieve the pose just fine, I was trying to do it all with the right hand.

So yeah, I got my only other villain involved and did this.
