Double-X This thing is just gorgeous. As one of my favorite designs in all of the Gundam lore, this is hands down one of my favorite representations of the suit. I think I might have to purchase one of these. |

Are you kidding me, it was a shame that the series was cut short, but ratings are what they are. X was one of my first. I had bought the original ng 1/144 releases (X, Leopard, Air Master, Ashtaron, and Virsago) back in the days of mail order from print ads. the rpoportions were a step up from the few Wing kits my friend ans had got instantly fell in love with Leopard, with X a close second. As we developed otaku tendencies, I leaned heavily into mecha. When the Double X was introduced it just clicked. Like I said, shame it got cancelled. I would have loved ten more episodes featuring the upgrades and bamfs like Jamil and Lancecrow.

It's a shame that universe doesn't get as much love as the others either.

				 | Quote: Ratings were only what they were because the shows time slot was changed multiple times. Yes the ratings weren't exactly great but it was moved from a regular Friday afternoon slot, a comfortable one for ratings that G and Wing had enjoyed before it, to later and later times. Eventually it was instead aired at a ridiculously early Sunday morning time slot. The ratings were pretty much much dead after that and then the production staff started bailing out one by one It's pretty sad too. So, MG Sazabi Ver. Ka got an official announcement, That made me happy. I think we all saw it coming, but it's just nice to have it said aloud . And here's some HG 1/100 Double X love: I cannot stay away from this kit, this is my third copy of it. The other two unfortunately took some crippling falls that they could not come back from. |

There are several releases in two different scales. HG 1/144 features non transforming versions, whilst the MG releases feature transformations. A good resource is Dalong's . |
