Anyway, all those designs look stupid in some way (Granted, Mawile's entire profile isn't shown in the picture), so this may be the first decision added to a main Pokemon game that I outright loathe.

I'll admit that Lucario would look better without them, it's actually the stupid giant dreadlocks that kill Mega's design. I know they're holdovers from the original design, but they weren't oversized and ugly in the original design.

I can actually understand why they added in the rust colors, but that doesn't stop them from being ugly.

Anyway, Blaziken gets ugly splotches of black that don't fit, super saiyan spiked hair, and it's blazing wrists were changed into flaming strings.
Absol goes full emo and gets wings that don't fit in it's design at all.
Mawile's two mouths are just ugly. They don't fit, and there's so much more they could have done instead of that.
And Ampharos gets Fabio hair. It's both the dumbest thing I've seen and the greatest thing I've seen.

I actually like the Mega Evolutions. I know F*** me right.

But couldn't they thought of something better than Mega Evolutions for them. It makes them sound like Digimon. Not that that's a bad thing.
