And it would be a bundle, if it does get confirmed. Which means not all PS4s will come with one and will likely cost more. It's thus a completely ludicrous comparison to make to the standard Xbox One release.

It's also not a good sign in the least. It is just further proof of their desperation following the Vita's commercial failure.

Actually, it's not a ludicrous comparison in the slightest.
Cost, options, number of releases, etc, are all variables you have to take note of.

Yet they were acting like all PS4s were coming with one (at its normal price). They aren't. If they didn't believe that, they sure didn't make that clear. Cost and options are important, but we don't even know the cost of this potential bundle anyways, but again, it will be more than just the PS4 alone.

And as you said, there are many variables to take note of - one of them being the headset with the Xbox One. Clearly they disagree, but that's a pretty important inclusion. It's really easy to turn off communications with strangers so you don't hear the rampant idiots, but then without a headset, how would you communicate with anyone you're friends with or partied up with? The headset is something that should have been included with all 360s but just wasn't. It's a good thing it's here on the One.

Feeling bad all day so playing Brutal Legend to cheer me up. I love this game. I know some people hated the RTS combat system but the cast, story and humor are more than enough to make up for it IMO.

I love Pikmin 3 but it's the first game in which the final boss is hard enough and has scared me to the point of not wanting to finish the game...
