Yep, I think the comic was actually a convention exclusive.

It was a side-story exclusive to the SDCC 2013 version of Issue #9(?).

Watched the season 1 finale, it was nice, defintely a step up from it's "predecessor" the ticket master.

The SDCC version of Issue 9 I picked up for $10 shipped, so it's not super expensive.
I intended on reading it online, but at the time, the only available scans sucked total ass, with dark pages, slanted scans, and annoying glares.

Anyway, if I recall, The Ticket Master was actually the first episode, which may explain why it's quality could be considered less than other episodes.
