Although I don't deny what you are saying for a second, mainly because I gave up on the show as well, but I've never understood this...argument. It's one of the most common defences for a series on this board in general, and every time this argument is dropped I'm as baffled as before.

Characters that grow, and shows that evolve, are a great thing but toku shows are long, and if you have other things to watch, I really can't comprehend why a person would put themselves through almost a thousand hours of something they hate, just in the vague hope it all becomes worth it by the end. Because there is no guarantee even those last handful of episodes will change your mind.

You sir have excellent taste, personally I'm quite fond of the violin song that Wataru and Otoya do all the time (the frigging thing has no name >.<), it perfectly sums up Kiva to me.

At points I felt that Otoya and Wataru were tricking us, knowing how to play a single song does not equate to be a virtuous music.

Otoya did play another song in the first few eps, didn't he? It was in a restaurant I think.
