It used to, but that was quite a longtime ago, my father saw one when he was young.

I think some are still used in coal transport though. There may also be some defunct ones in old towns.

Japan knows trains. Japan knows transforming toys. Japan damn well knows trainsforming train toys. That last one was actually a typo I decided to leave in.
So I expect some good DX mecha out of this line. I don't wanna see no arms/torso/legs Voltron combination that's horribly bloated and gimped by some gimmick.

Agree. This is a series that will combine two of Japan's masteries, so the toys should be off the chain amazing.

Love me some trains. It's a shame that so few run down here. I'm hoping we can do without the animal themes, but I don't know if that's avoidable anymore. Something like Grand Liner would be radical though.
