How else were you going to combine Captain CheetahCar, Sargent ApeTruck, and Commander BunnyCoptor? This has happened before though. It's easy to make it look awesome on television, but the toy has to adhere to being a toy, you know? Gosei Ultimate comes to mind. In the show he's big, and awe-inspiring. The toy he's.. a brick, basically. But I don't think it looks bad. I kind of like how they combined them in toy form. And if you don't like it so much, mail it to me |

I guess the toy of GoBusterOh is like marmite; you either love it, or hate it. I personally rather like him, in all his stiff-legged chunky glory! Heheh

				 | Quote: This occured to me earlier. I was so gung-ho when we first got snippets of him, and I bought the individual figures as soon as they were released. and I love each individual one, but I realize I find Gobuster-OH severlly underwhelming. it's really blocky, and so far doesn't do much of anything but show up and look at the monsters till they die. and since the look we've gotten of future combination seems to follow the Hurricanger route and automaticlly ditch the Females mecha with every combination I'm finding myself liking the combined form even less. Am I alone here or has anyone else noticed it's been a bit of a let down after how awsome Ace has been. The rest is your opinion, and I will depart.

There's some design cues on Buster-Oh that I actually dig, although the DX Bandai toy does look somewhat... lacklustre from the reviews I've seen. I specifically like the helmet. I think I'd be potentially interested in a super-articulated non-transforming version of both Ace and Oh, depending on how effectively they pull off the aesthetic from the show.

GoBuster-Oh doesn't really do much but recycle stock footage over and over again. His sword doesn't even strike the baddie! They pull the MMPR Season 2 trick by just flipping the camera around. The only new footage used is maybe it turning around from the exploding carcass every once in a while, because even those are reused sometimes.

I like this point of view. Correct me if I'm wrong, but are you saying that Gobuster-Oh is an elaborate finisher in itself? In this case the three individual mecha, especially Gobuster-Ace are the main "combatants".

I haven't been watching GoBuster, but I find it funny that, for a Sentai without a morphing sequence, their mecha fights are stock footage :P

I never got the impression that they were "conserving" Enetron myself. Yeah, they're stopping Messiah from getting his hands on it, but they never talked about a shortage of the stuff really...

				 | Quote: To make an analogy, it's like in Evangelion when they unplug the Evas - there's only so much battery life before they've run out. Odds are the combination uses up a lot of the zords' Enertron reserves, and the power requirements for the combined form are equally high. |
