				 | Quote: I've decided to vote for Jetman because from starts to finish, I think it has one of the strongest plot around. All the Jetman are terrific, especially the uneasy friendship between Ryu (Red Hawk) and Gai (Black Condor). The Vyram is one of the best villain faction in Super Sentai history, with such memorable characters as Radiguet, Grey, and the tragic Maria. When it comes to mechs, I found both Jet Icarus and Jet Garuda to be great, and their combined form Great Icarus is a sight to behold. It's hard to believe that it almost became a Power Rangers series as well, but I'm glad it wasn't adapted so it can be preserved as a sentai series without inviting comparison with its PR counterpart, like Zyuranger has done. |

Shinkenger! Of the four Sentai series' I've started, Shinkenger is FAR the most interesting.

Was going to vote for Shinkenger, Gokaiger, or Liveman, but chose Timeranger. Because: - Liked how the character archetypes were slightly reminiscent of Goranger - Ending the 20th century with a time theme was just awesome - Suits are still one of my fav designs - Timefire

And now for an update: To no surprise, Gokaiger leads by a landslide. Now it's just a battle for second and third place between Shinkenger, Jetman and Dairanger. With the exception of Gokaiger, this poll's results are dramatically different from the previous polls. Liveman and Timeranger, which landed first place in their respective polls, have only one vote each.

Very, very difficult poll. I had to narrow it down to two: Kaizoki Sentai Gokaiger and Samurai Sentai Shinkenger. At first it seemed Shinkenger was going to be my vote because Kobayashi's character development for Takeru was probably the most impressive thing I've seen until then and sold me on Super Sentai as a whole. The final story arc of Shinkenger is breathtaking. However when I thought about it, the Gokaigers were extremely likeable beyond Marvelous. It's not to say that the Shinkengers fed solely off Takeru, but I felt I cared less about Chiaki, Ryuunosuke, Mako and Kotoha compared to Joe, Don, Luka and Ahim. While the Shinkengers were all very well developed beyond that of the average Sentai warrior (and even some reds), they felt like supporting characters in every sense of the word. Not a bad thing for story purposes, but it makes the team overall not as likeable as the Gokaigers. Of course there's the nostalgia which makes Gokaiger a great show to start with, and also a treat for those wishing to know more about Super Sentai. As you can probably tell from this post, I still haven't quite made my mind up yet, but gut feeling tells me it's Gokiager.

Please take note that the choices above were determined from the previous poll results from late-May. Any changes to the results after May 2012 do not count. A second edition of this poll will be set on December.
