Aren't the Power Ponies closer to Marvel/DC superheroes rather than Toku henshin heroes? All I've seen is the uncolored animatic and the blink and you'll miss it scene snippet for commercials, so I'm unsure, though. It seemed more like The Avengers to me. I think people just heard "Power ____" and were like "It's Power Rangers!!!"
