My timing probably has as much to do with it as my age. Coming after Kakuranger and right after Ohranger, the show was a bit of a head scratcher that left me kind of cold. I wasn't expecting parody. You have to remember that this was back in the days of limited inter-net and I was getting the eps. on VHS straight from Japan via a local Japanese grocery store or friends stationed over in Japan and had been doing so for years. No subs and only the occasional magazine with show info in a language I didn't read.

That said I absolutely love Akibaranger.

FYI- I hope you don't see this as being argumentative. I have no problem with you liking Carranger nor do I think poorly of you for liking it. I'm just trying to explain or at least give perspective as to why I didn't care for it.

I'm actually contemplating watching Goseiger. I loved the suits, and the fights, in Megaforce and as I rarely gel with the rest of the communities opinions, the general hate probably means love for me.
