A collection of side stories of Kamen Rider Xtreme. These are just a series of stand alone stories that I just wasn't able to fit into the main story. These have no planned schedule as they'll basically just be written whenever I feel like writing one or write a chapter that just doesn't fit with the rest of the story.

Xtreme Side Story - #1 Everyone has a reason for their actions, even monsters... and heroes. This is one of their stories. Alex and Madison were spending the night at the station in Sampson's office. Madison spun around in the chair behind Sampson's desk while Alex was busy moving boxes from one end of the room to another. “ARGH!” Madison ground, “Remind me why we're here again?” “Sampson was called out on duty, so he asked me to help sort out some old files,” Alex explained placing a box down on the floor. “and seeing as how the last few weeks have been rather peaceful, and now that we have more riders on the team, I figured I might as well give him a hand.” Madison sighed, “Well, so long as your hearts in the right place I guess... I just thought that tonight would be a little bit more well, romantic if you know what I mean.” “I'm sorry,” Alex said to Madison, “I suck don't I?” “Yeah, you kind of do,” Madison said before a small grin appeared on her face, “but it's not all bad.” Alex stepped towards Madison and placed his hands down on Sampson's desk, “How so?” “Well...” Madison said as she placed her hand over top of Alex's, “How many other girls can say their boyfriend is a superhero?” Alex laughed a bit, “Not sure is 'super' is the word I'd use.” “Yeah you're right, you totally suck,” Madison said as she bursted out laughing. “Okay,” Alex said as his eye began to twitch, “are you just going to poke fun at me all night or are you going to help?” “Oh come on, you set me up for that,” Madison said picking herself up from the ground. “Okay I'll give you that one,” Alex said picking up a box and placing it onto the desk, “Now then, help me sort through these.” Madison sighed, “Fine,” She picked up the box and stood up from her seat, “but after this you're taking me out for-” She said as she tripped over a loose cord causing several files to spill out from the box and onto the floor. “Hey, be careful will you,” Alex said as he ducked down to the ground and began picking up the files. “Sorry,” Madison returned as she got back onto her feet, “not my fault that this place tried to-” “Hey,” Alex said as an old looking book caught his eye, “this is...” He held up the file in both his hands and stood back up. “What is it?” Madison asked grabbing one side of the book with one hand as Alex held onto the other. “It seems to be some kind of journal,” Alex explained as he flipped it open to the first page, “... from my mother.” Alex read from the top of the page. Kamen Rider Fata: Memory of Seasons Past On a cold winter's night, a fresh falling of snow swept over Ardent City. A police chief sat as his desk looking over a few reports that were spread out across his desk. A young officer walked through the door. “Um, Chief?” the officer said, “I'm going to head out now alright?” “Oh, of course,” The chief returned, “have a goodnight Gordon.” “Right,” The officer said bowing to her chief, “I'll be going now chief.” “Alice,” The chief said as Gordon made his way out, “How many times have I told you to drop the formalities? Please, just call me Joel.” “But chief...” Gordon said before thinking for a moment, “I mean, Joel.” “There we go,” Joel smirked, “now get out of here. I'm sure you'd much rather spend tonight at home... instead of in the confines of this place.” “Right, I'll be going then. See you tomorrow,” Gordon said before walking out the door. “Oh one more thing,” Joel shouted. Gordon turned back to Joel, “Yes?” “If you happen to run into Alice,” Joel began, “Could you give her the update on our latest case?” “The one with swordsman?” Gordon asked. “That's the one,” Joel returned. “Alright, I'll make sure she knows,” Gordon said before heading out the door and shutting it behind him. “See you tomorrow.” Joel sighed and leaned back in his chair looking out the window to the snow falling outside, “Hard to believe it's been seven years already... time sure flies doesn't it?” Gordon stepped outside the police station and into the snowy winter streets as the glare of car headlights passed over her. He turned to the left and proceeded down the snowy street. After a bit of walking, he came to a traffic light which was currently red. He sighed as he waited for the light to change. Just then, something tapped his shoulder lightly. “What the-” He shouted as he turned around to see a brown haired woman in a long black coat with a checkerboard scarf standing behind him, “Oh... it's only you.” “Something the matter Sammy?” Asked the woman with the checkerboard scarf. She giggled a bit, “You look like you've seen a ghost.” “Oh... Alice,” Gordon said. “I think we need to talk for a moment,” Alice stated, “You want to grab a coffee or something?” “Oh... sure,” Gordon returned. The two made their way over to a coffee shop and were seated in a few minutes. After a while, a waitress brought over a trey holding two cups of coffee to their table and placed it down between them. “I see,” Alice said taking one of the cups off the trey, “So another has shown up then?” “Seems so,” Gordon sighed. “This one appears to be-” “Joel already gave me the jist of it,” Alice interrupted as she took a sip of coffee, “Seems this one is pretty strong, Joel said something about it being at least a class B-5. A bit surprising since we haven't seen another above a class three for a while now.” “I'm sorry... come again?” Gordon asked. “Oh yeah, you're new to the Dopant Hunting Division aren't you?” Alice returned, “Sorry, my bad. I'll back up a bit,” She took out a pen and drew up a large rectangle on a napkin and slid it over to Gordon, “You see each dopant is divided up into five different classes depending on how strong they are,” She said divided the rectangle into fives and labeling them from A to E, “A being the strongest and E being the weakest.” “Oh, I get it...” Gordon said looking at the diagram, “But wait, what about the number part?” “I was getting to that,” Alice said as she wrote the numbers 1 through 5 on the top of diagram, “Then, each classification is then divided into five sub classes with 1 being the strongest and 5 being the weakest. I I know it looks complicated but it really isn't, it's just a helpful little chart so we know what to expect from each dopant.” “Okay, I think I get it,” Gordon proclaimed, “So if I'm reading this right the strongest should be a class A-1 with the weakest being an E-5... right?” “You got it,” Alice said with a smirk. “So how do you tell which class a dopant is?” Gordon asked. “Oh, that's simple. It's all in the color of the gaia memory,” Alice explained. “Uh...” Gordon said raising an eyebrow, “gaia memory?” “They look like this,” Alice said pulling out a silver USB like device from her back pocket and placing it on the table. “This one is mine they're what gives the dopants their power. They are divided into five colors; A being gold, B being red, C violet, B blue and C being green.” “Then why is yours silver?” Gordon asked. “Rider memories work a bit differently than dopant memories,” Alice stated, “plus they have a different feel to them.” Gordon blinked, “Oh... alright then.” Alice looked at her watch quickly, “Oh my, look how late it's gotten,” She said as she grabbed her memory as she got up from the table, “I have to be going now, I'm sorry,” She pulled out her wallet from her pocket. Gordon placed his hand over her wallet, “Don't worry, it's on me this time.” He said with a grin, “You just get going alright?” “Alright, thanks Sammy,” Alice smiled back at Gordon. “I'll catch you later, alright.” She said with a wave of her hand as she walked out the door of the coffee shop. Gordon waved back as the door closed behind Alice, “Have a goodnight.” --- In a factory on the far side of the city two workers walked down a long hallway, conversing with one another.“So any idea when work on the new addition will be?” Asked one of the workers as he pulled out a key card. “Probably when they finalize the deal on the spot they're looking at,” The other returned as the two walked up to a bulkhead door. The one with the card swiped it through a scanner on the side of the door, “So... then not for a while I take it?” The other worker laughed a bit as the bulkhead door opened, “Sure looks that way.” A cold breezed rushed out of the door and filled the hallway, “Hey... did it just get colder in here?” The sound of a blade scratching against metal filled the air, “Devine blade of snow,” a voice called out as metal footsteps drew closer to the two workers, “have mercy on these misguided pawns, for they know not of the pain they inflict.” “Huh?” One of the workers said as a white knight emerged from the shadow of the door and struck him with the blade of his sword. “AHHH!” --- Alice stepped through the front door to a two story house. She closed and locked the door behind her before hanging her coat and scarf on a hook on the wall. She slipped off her boats before proceeding into the living room where a brown haired man sat on a large couch facing a television.Alice walked up behind him, wrapped her arms around him and rested her chin on his shoulder, “Hey Jay.” “How many times do I have to tell you to stop calling me that?” The man returned. “Is there a problem with me calling you that?” Alice asked. “It was cute when we were dating,” the man proclaimed, “but we should put childish names like that in the past... where they belong.” “Oh Jason,” Alice said patting him on both shoulders, “Must you always be hung up on the past?” Jason sighed, “Focusing the past prevents it from happening ag-” Before he could finish speaking, Alice grabbed his shoulders and placed his forehead against hers. “... Alice, what are yo-” “Don't talk... let's just stay like this for a while,” She said in a sort of meditative state. After a few moments a single tear ran down her cheek. “Uh... are you alright?” Jason asked. “Of course,” Alice said as she wiped the tear from her face, “just got something in my eye is all.” She sat down on the arm of the couch beside Jason, “So... Alex is asleep I take it?” “Yup, crashed a couple of hours ago,” Jason returned. “Alright, I'll go a check on him,” Alice said giving Jason a small kiss on the check before getting up from the couch. “I'll be back in a moment.” Alice proceeded up a small flight of stairs to the second floor of the house where she came to a hallway. She proceeded two doors down the hall until she came to a door marked with a sign with the words “Demons Beware” written in bold red letters across it. She slowly pushed open the door and walked into a bedroom littered with toys and other playthings with a single bed on the wall across from the door where a small boy lay sleeping. Alice smiled as she carefully made her way through the minefield on the floor over to the bed and knelt down beside it. She reached out and placed her hand on the boy's forehead moving away his hair and placing her forehead against his closing her eyes while she did. She pulled away from her child “So your future hasn't change.” she sighed. “No matter, I'm sure that you'll be able to find a way out of it.” She got up from her son's bedside and walked out the door, closing it behind her. “You're going to do great things, and even though it pains me that I won't be there too see them... try to be happy Alex.” Alice made her way back downstairs to where Jason sat on the couch. She sat down next to him and leaned against him. “How is he?” Jason asked. “Better,” Alice returned, “His fever has gone done a bit, but something still seems to be bugging him.” “I see,” Jason said calmly, “and, what's this I heared about a new dopant?” Alice smacked him lightly, “You know I can't tell you about that stuff.” “I'm only asking for the technical stuff,” Jason said with a grin, “Class? Element? That kind of stuff.” Alice gave Jason a quick kiss on the lips, “Sorry sweaty, that's classified.” “Everything with you is classified,” Jason sighed, “I'm asking Joel about this first thing tomorrow.” “Sorry but he's busy then,” Alice stated, “He'll be overseeing a crime scene investigation that might have a good lead on what this newest one is up to. You can get the scoop once everything is all wrapped up.” “Alright fine I get it,” Jason sighed, “So, any idea when that will be?” Alice thought for a moment, then turned back to Jason, “... That's classified.” Jason sighed, “Just be careful alright. If something were to happen to you out there… I’m not sure what I would do.” “Don’t worry,” Alice said with a grin, “I will.” {End of Part A}
