Anyway, I was intending on breeding a Piplup, and while I got the result that I wanted (Correct nature and all the egg moves I wanted, don't care about IVs), the grief it gave me has made me want to punt it in the face.

So I'm ripe for suggestions for Pokemon to train.

			I'm contemplating buying a 3DS XL and getting Pokemon X or Y.

Should I? And which version should I get? Pokemon newbie here.

As the guy who just got back into this and did the same thing, I want to say Y, but Im honestly not sure. If you can still find I suggest either the Blue (for X) or Red (for Y) Pokemon edition 3DSXl since thats what you are lookin for.

Honestly there's not much difference between these particular versions, so either one is fine.
